CHOP.

So last saturday, on a whim, I walked into Trade Secret at Pearlridge mall and declared my need for a haircut. I've been talking about chopping my hair off for a whole year and never had the balls to do it till last week. This year just feels so much different than last and I felt it was time for a change. Soooo introducing the brand new me...

TA-DA!

Not gonna lie I totally miss my long hair and being able to just wrap it up on top my head in a messy bun. But having it this short makes me feel free and it's never tangled which is AWESOME. Overall I am happy with it cuz I can have long hair whenever I want I just gotta let it grow.

Well in other news since I got back from Vegas (literally the very next day) I've been sick. I had a sore throat and swollen tonsils and sore swollen glands sticking out of my neck towards the end of my sickness. I hate going to the doctors so I thought I would let my awesome immune system take over and kick sickness' butt, BUT my immune system failed me. I was deathly sick for 4 days, I felt better for 2 days, then the sickness came back for round 2 and after it had been over a week I finally caved and called the doctors. The results came in and sad to say, I had/have STREP THROAT. F me. Do you realize that this is the 3rd or 4th time in my life I've had strep? Isn't that a little unusual? My tonsils hate me obviously. Anywho the doctors wasn't all that bad because hey my blood pressure is normal and when they had me step on the scale I weighed in at a skinny healthy 113 pounds! haha. And now I'm on antibiotics feeling better and on my way back to health. I've missed so much school the past couple weeks just from being sick and not wanting to go and I feel like I've fallen behind, but I know I can get back on track if I just focus. Why is it so hard to just FOCUS. GAH. i can do it...i can do it.

Anyways here are the highlights of my week.

• I ate so many bowls of ice cream I lost count.
• A few times I added chunky peanut butter and sprinkles to my ice cream...and.it.was.DELICOUS.
• My facebook inbox sang to me many a lovely songs. ;) (<---that winky face again! might be part of my secret..guess you'll never know haha)
• I caught up on all my favorite tv shows via hulu.
• I can honestly say the best thing I bought this week was a papaya.
• My art teacher told me I don't "suck".

Not a very exciting list but hey it's my life and it's mine all mine and I got no complaints! Life is good. the end!

but honestly, you didn't think I'd tell you, did you? ;) <---I've never actually used that kind of smiley face before because I never felt the occasion appropriate.........until NOW! Run along now. Get back to your day. Enough being nosey! ha!

Ease up, alright?! If you are not going to give me more minutes in an hour and more hours in a day with which to complete everything you're throwing at me, then you should quit expecting so much from me.

With that said, I'd like to send a shout out to the Universe and say thanks for allowing me to take 2 mini vacations this month. They were much needed and greatly appreciated. Last weekend I got to go to Maui for a day and a half to meet up with my best friend from high school, Laurie and her husband. Sleeping on the beach and sipping virgin lava flows, no it doesn't get any better than that!

Tonight me, my dad, and my sister leave for...*dun.dun.duuuuunnnn* THE VEGAS! The rugby 7s tournament is going on and this will be my first one I've ever gone to. I am beyond excited and seriously can not wait for my weekend to start! Now all I have to do is pack (if you know me...this is no simple task. In fact that's what I'm suppose to be doing right now. Oops.), go to one more class, go running, then enjoy the flight (which I hope I will sleep soundly through). Then when I wake up I'll be in The Vegas and we'll meet up with my mom and other sister and we shall have the best weekend EVER. How can you not, I mean it's The Vegas.

And now that I'm blogging about the fun things going on in my life, it doesn't seem so bad, in fact it sounds kind of fabulous. So sorry I was so rude to you Life in my letter to you at the top of this post....I guess I take it back.

rabbit rabbit

So I don't remember what crackhead childrens show we were watching, but I remember watching it with my older sister Melissa way back when, and some fool on it said that if the first thing that comes out of your mouth on the first day of the month is "rabbit rabbit" before you say anything else, then you'll have good luck for the whole month. sooooooo

*ahem* "RABBIT! RABBIT!"

There I said it. Can't wait for this lucky month to get going! haha!
